Ice Skating Time :
Ice skating opens started from November 30th to March 16th, hour of operation is 10am- 9:45pm. Rink can close early depend upon crowd and safety. Rental available on site.
Cloths and Wearing:
Winter season its always recommended to be safe and warn. Its very cold inside the rink. Wearing a puffer jacket, gloves and scarf will be best. Aside from this, you can wear anything that comfort you with evening cold.
Skate Rental & Admission:
There is no entrance fee to enter Nathan Philips square to enjoy Christmas decoration and lightening.
However there is cost involves to skate around the rink. Rentals accepts debit, credit and cash with deposit required of valid id card as driving license, passport, healthcare or any government issue card with photo id. No college id will be accepted for deposit.

Skate sharpening:
Yes, you can sharpen your skate Monday – Friday between 10am -4pm. its cost approx.. $10.00( hockey only) for skate sharpening.
Crowds and Busy Time:
This is the major factor that change the closing time of skating.
Afternoon, Weekend, holidays and evenings after work can be very crowded. We recommend to visit on earlier day to avoid crowd.
Transit and Parking:
Toronto Transit Available for travel, as its located at 100 queen Street west, easily accessed by TTC queen street Car (501) or you can exit on queen station on Yonge line subway or Osgood station on university line.
If you are traveling with your own car, underground parking available with the cost.
Food & Drinks:
You will be fine, if you are open for street and quick food. Lots of kiosk nearby offering hot chocolate, coffee, snacks are available around squares.
